I’m at the beginning of a new journey — a series still taking shape, inspired by the faded magic of vintage playgrounds. These first pieces are a study in nostalgia and wonder, where optimism and memory drift together like songs on the wind. I hope to capture that fleeting feeling of endless possibility — the sense that the world, at any moment, might tilt open into something new.

The process so far has been a joy, full of unexpected turns and quiet revelations. Early photo compositions are weaving a story I can’t wait to share. If all continues as it dreams itself forward, I hope to unveil the full collection this summer.

I’ll be posting updates right here!

As with many of my series, I often begin my visual journey on Pinterest. This is a place I can create mood boards and gather inspiration.  This is a small sampling of my board for this series.

You can join the journey here.

The drawings come next… in this case they are very simple. I was interested in capturing the unique architecture of the playscape equipment.

It’s not generally in my comfort zone to share unfinished works in progress… But, since you made the effort to join me, here is a peek at some preliminary images.
