Digital art may be my medium, but it is only one part of a very human process. My work grows from a lifetime of painting, illustration, graphic design, photography, and poetry, using my own photographs, drawings, and designs to build each composition. I don’t use generative AI or stock imagery. Here’s a closer look at how my digital artwork is made—and why, despite the technology, the process remains deeply personal.
Portals of Wonder was developed as a public art proposal for Waco Family Medicine, exploring how artwork can transform healthcare environments into spaces of connection, comfort, and discovery. Inspired by the idea that moments of wonder can positively impact our everyday experiences, the project envisioned a series of immersive visual installations designed to engage patients, families, staff, and visitors.
