Take root in the bank
that anchors your heart.
Allow the current
to extend your reach.

Recall the mysteries
that inspired new sight.
They reveal the casualties
of our delusions.

Vestige refers to something that is no longer present but its effects remain. The most enduring evidence in existence is presence of water. The unrelenting flow has been felt since the beginning and continues to shape the world we live in on every level.

If we trace the currents to their elusive beginnings we may recognize the place we now occupy. If we can find our reflection in the shimmering remnants we may finally know ourselves. And while the casualties of misunderstanding may play across the surface, perhaps we can give grace to the journey and find belonging.

Allow The Current

As the ever-changing currents flow, the lily bloom continually to rises to the surface. As long as it remains connected, it can adjust and extend its reach with each shift. Perhaps this can inspire us to hold fast to ourselves and allow the water to lift us to new levels.

Inspire New Sight

The solitary bloom, a symbol of individuality, rises impossibly from the wave and inspires wonder. The reflection is fragmented on the surface of the water and shows us not everything is as it seems.

Let It Pull You Home

The light reflected in the waves is coming from an unknown source making the viewer the lightsource.

The Persistence Of Time

Water can remind us that we are all connected to a something larger and even the smallest gesture can make a difference.

Anchor Your Heart

I listened to the audio book “Braving the Wilderness”by Brené Brown, twice. There was a passage in it that spoke to standing firm in your self, while still allowing the new ideas to help you grow. It kinda stuck with me. So much of the imagery in this series is inverted or fragmented. I think it helps to look at things from a new angle. I realize that there will be tendency to display this image up-side-down. Which is ok, whatever speaks to you... But be aware if the palm trees are upright, the birds are inverted. There is always a flip side.
