Insights is a free program that offers visitors the chance to learn more about the UMLAUF’s current exhibition on display: The Apropos Show
This Insights is styled like a panel discussion, with a compiled PowerPoint presentation, that will take place on October 18th from 6:30-8pm.
Each artist will get two minutes to present with slides (like a PechaKucha!) in a fast-paced tour about your work. After the presentation, we will have a Q&A session for the audience.
The Apropos Show is a juried group exhibition of contemporary art that thoughtfully addresses an aspect or aspects of Charles Umlauf’s work. Some artists might pay homage to Umlauf’s sculpture or subject matter, while other artists might question or problematize tenets embedded in Umlauf’s oeuvre. Apropos will be a wide-ranging exhibition that displays a variety of responses to Umlauf’s work, offering viewers a chance to reflect on a multitude of themes.
