WaterWork is a unique, immersive art experience that celebrates the dynamic relationship between Austin’s urban landscape and its cherished natural environment. Presented by Design Austin and The Trail Conservancy, this two-night event transforms the iconic façade of Austin’s historic Seaholm Intake Facility into a vibrant canvas of art, light, and motion.
Using state-of-the-art projection mapping technology, the Seaholm Waterfront will come alive with captivating artworks from fifteen talented Austin artists. Each artist’s work explores and illuminates the vibrant coexistence between Austin’s bustling cityscape and its restorative beauty of natural spaces.
WaterWork is free and open to the public, viewable from various vantage points along the Butler
Hike-and-Bike Trail, such as Auditorium Shores and the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. For an elevated viewing experience, our boat cruises will return this year, with a limited amount of tickets available now.
