SUMMARY:Inspiration Gallery - Solo Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:“In this solo exhibition\, Leslie Kell creates visual worlds built from photography\, drawing\, and digital layering. The works linger in the in-between—real and surreal\, grounded and drifting—inviting viewers to step into a realm where mystery is welcome and imagination leads the way.“ \nRiverbend Inspiration Gallery presents Someplace Else\, a solo exhibition by lens-based artist and designer Leslie Kell. This body of work offers a quiet\, reflective experience shaped by light\, space\, and imagination. Through layered photographic compositions\, Kell blends elements of the familiar with subtle\, dreamlike moments\, creating images that feel both grounded and gently otherworldly. \nIn Someplace Else\, everyday scenes open into calm\, meditative environments that invite viewers to slow down\, breathe\, and be present. The exhibition encourages stillness and connection—an opportunity to step away from daily noise and enter a place of quiet wonder. \nFor the first time\, Kell will also feature the largest selection ever of her exclusive Artists Masters —one-of-a-kind\, investment-grade originals that elevate her imagery with custom framing\, hand-painted and textural enhancements. These singular pieces are crafted with museum-quality materials and finished with bespoke three-dimensional presentation\, making this collection a rare opportunity to experience and collect this exceptional body of work all in one place. \nThe Inspiration Gallery will be open for viewing on Sundays shortly before and during the 10:30am service\, and will close at 11:30am following the service. Private showings are available by request. \nSee the works in the show here. \n

SUMMARY:Above & Beyond: 2nd Floor Resident Artists Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:In this exhibition\, the work is not a destination\, but a point of departure. Above & Beyond brings together ten artists who inhabit the vital space where material reality gives way to something more profound. This collection is a study of transcendence: the act of rising above a medium’s physical properties and reaching beyond the visible to capture the essence of the human spirit. \nAcross these eleven distinct practices\, a shared language of transformation emerges. Whether through the textured weight of sculpture or the fluid energy of a painting\, these works function as “visual events” rather than static objects. They reject the silence of a flat surface\, choosing instead to occupy a landscape of rhythm\, light\, and depth. \nThe exhibition explores the constant tension between structure and instinct—the desire to build\, to order\, and to contain\, set against the impulse to surrender to the subconscious. By emphasizing the tactile and the sensory\, these works invite a “slow looking” that reveals the hidden layers of our shared existence. Above & Beyond is an invitation to move past the threshold of the material world and enter a sanctuary where the resilience of the maker meets the reflection of the observer. \nART Gallery at Canopy\n916 Springdale Rd\,\nBldg 2 Ste 101 \nHours: Friday 1-6PM Sat/Sun 1-4PM \nOpening Reception: Thursday\, February 19\, 7–9 p.m. \nMore Info and RSVP here \nAdmission: Free and open to the public \n  \n\n\n\n\nFeatured Artists:\nAnn Flemings\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKevin Bishop\nLauren Tarbel\nLeslie Kell\nLindsay Shillington\nLucy Macqueen\nNatasha Kanevski\nNeena Buxani\nPriscilla Lustig\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYasmin Youssef
